Whether it is known as The Root District or The Market District, the area around the Royalston Station and the historic farmer’s market can be the most important stop on the new LRT Blue Line.
Our planning work has focused on CLIMATE, EQUITY and CREATIVITY—emphasizing best urban design practices. Coupled with a ULI global Net Zero Imperative planning grant, we envision a transit-oriented, zero-carbon, food-centric urban neighborhood. This key site—immediately next to the downtown core is as large as the central business district.
